About Us
Who we are
We are a group of like-minded Ottawa South Citizens and residents of Findlay creek, Greely, Metcalfe, and allied areas; committed to planning, developing, and operating this community center to benefit the members of the Muslim community and other communities at large. All brothers and sisters and particularly the youth of the community are welcome to take part and help develop this a reality and well-functioning institution.
Purpose
OSMCC is a non-political, non-profit, independent, community-oriented charitable organization organized by Ottawa south Muslim community. The services would be open to all Canadians (citizens, immigrants, and residents) of any faith, cultural and ethnic background. We respect each other, and welcome, and accept others' views and ideas. The volunteer and charitable activities are organized to serve the local community and not for publicity or any personal interest or gain. No directors or office bearers of the OSMCC Organization shall obtain any personal benefits from this Organization in terms of cash or kind, and/or use, misuse or abuse his office of the board or personal gains, propaganda, and or publicity.
